By Air

Sardinia is an island, of course, so you'll have to fly or take a ferry to visit us. The two airports of principal interest to you are Elmas Airport in Cagliari (CAG) and Fertilia Airport in Alghero (AHO). While Elmas is a 10 minute cab ride from the apartment, Fertilia is a 2 hour drive by hire car.
Cagliari is served by a number of airlines including:
  • Ryanair
  • Easyjet
  • British Airways
  • TUIfly
  • Meridiana
  • Alitalia
Alghero is served by a number of airlines including:
  • Ryanair
  • BMI Baby
  • TUIfly
  • Meridiana
  • Blue1

From the UK

The best connected airport to Sardinia from the UK is undoubtedly Stansted Airport. From here you can fly directly to Cagliari with EasyJet, or directly into Alghero with Ryanair. Flight times are in the order of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
There are a lot of other European cities that connect the UK with Sardinia, especially for low-cost carriers like Ryanair and Easyjet. We recommend you use a website like Skyscanner to help you find a cheap route here. Or see Ryanair's interactive route map to give yourself an idea of the many possible alternatives.

From Ireland

There is a direct flight from Dublin to Alghero with Ryanair.
As a second alternative, take a connecting flight to London-Stansted and continue from there with a suitable flight.
Thirdly, there are a lot of other European cities that connect Ireland with Sardinia, especially for low-cost carriers like Ryanair and Easyjet. We recommend you use a website like Skyscanner to help you find a cheap route here. Or see Ryanair's interactive route map to give yourself an idea of the many possible alternatives.

By Sea

Sardinia has a number of ports served by passenger ferries: Olbia, Porto Torres, and Caglari itself. See the following companies for information on routes from the South of France and mainland Italy:
  • Moby
  • Corsica/Sardinia Ferries
